Leamington Lions is proud to have been awarded the FA Charter Standard. This standard is The FA’s accreditation that recognises and rewards commitment, quality and achievement, so you can be confident that Leamington Lions provides qualified coaching and safeguard.

ABOUT the lions

Leamington Lions was founded in 1998 by Nick Buckle, a local teacher. Whilst training in Leamington, he discovered that girls were actually interested in playing football but that there were few opportunities in the Leamington & Warwick area.

Nick decided to start a team, word spread and, before long, Leamington Lions was born.
